Laser therapy is very much useful in curing the skin diseases. Liver spots can be treated by laser therapy. Liver spots are characterized by the yellow or dark brown patches in the skin. Laser therapy is one of the effective methods for preventing liver spots and also age spots.
Laser treatment helps in destroying the e extra cells in the basal layer of the skin that produce the extra melanin. The destroyed basal cells will not produce melanin. Laser treatment will not cause any damage on the outer surface of the skin .Usually a number of sessions are needed for the patient to cure from the disease. The yellow color spot will gradually fade away over a number of weeks or even months. After the repeated sessions of treatment yellow spot reduces in size and shape and by this process we can cure the disease completely .This treatment is used only for the severe liver spots .Laser treatment is quite costly so it is not opted by many people. Laser treatments also have some complications.
